Although the requirement for vaccine passes has been removed, and facemasks do not have to be worn outside, you may still choose to do so. Please note there is still a requirement for mask wearing when indoors at the Club.

Any member entering the facilities should be wearing a mask upon entry, and this should only be taken off when eating and drinking at your table. When visiting the toilet or ordering, mask wearing is still required.

Due to someone reporting members not wearing masks in the clubhouse to worksafe, this will be inforced by the clubhouse team as much as is practical to ensure we are compliant with all guidelines. Ordering will continue at one end of the bar with the collection of drinks from the other.

From the Pro Shop

With winter coming along, we think it's time for our members to get some new shoes that suit the season.

We have decided to take 20% off all shoes currently stocked in the pro shop until the end of April.

Even Tiger Woods has made the switch to the comfortable Foot Joys, so why shouldn't you?

Please come in, support local and our friendly staff will be happy to help.

Golf Investment Plan

The cCub has three meetings early next week discussing the golf investment plan, Councillor Richard Hills will be at the Club to discuss things from a local perspective. Golf NZ are bringing all affected clubs together to plan a unified response, and we are meeting with the reports authors to better understand the intentions of the document. We would hope to have more information by the middle of next week to help members with their submission, should they wish to make one.

Coring

We're delighted to report that coring went smoothly this year, the weather was relatively kind to the team. We'd like to thank the efforts of Denis, Campbell and Andrew this week, it's always a full on time for the greens staff.

Work now starts on the 4th Green so the temporary hole is in play while this work is ongoing. Players teeing off the back nine need to start on hole eleven.
