 Clubhouse Re-Opening
We are delighted that at long last we are able to re-open our Bar, Kitchen and Decking area to our members from next Friday 3rd December.
There will be a capacity limit of 100 people and drinks service will be at the tables.
The directive of the NZ Ministry of Health is that our hospitality venue is required to ensure that all guests aged 16+ over are double vaccinated. By deciding to visit our upstairs clubhouse area, this indiates that you acknowledge this directive, are fully vaccinated and able to provide proof of vaccination via the 'My Vaccine Pass'.
People unable to provide this proof of vaccination, will not be allowed to enter the clubrooms and should not try to do so. Whether you agree with the mandate or not, these are the guidelines by which we are required to operate, as are all other hospitality businesses that wish to re-open their doors.
We will be asking all members and visitors to scan in upon arrival upstairs using the My Vaccine Pass QR Code. For your convenience, a terminal has been placed at the entrance to the bar area, and in the initial stages of our operation, staff will be on hand to show you how to scan in on arrival. Please note this does not replace people scanning the location QR code when arriving at the club to play golf (people should continue to do this).
Our staff will also be carrying out spot checks at the tables to ensure there is compliance. Fines for the club failing to adhere to these rules are considerable, therefore we ask for your patience and support in making this system work.
We understand that medically exempt people are still able to access the vaccine pass, and therefore should scan on entry in the same way that vaccinated people would.
At this stage we have decided to keep the cafe area downstairs as take away only, and will continue to operate in the same way we have for the past few months.
Further guidelines on how to scan in will be released next week.
