Due to an increase in membership over the past 12 months we are still inviting membership applications however will be adding players to a waiting list until spaces become available. Please fill out the online membership form and we will get in touch with you.
The Club has taken the decision to re-introduce a joining fee across all membership categories apart from Juniors. This $300 Joining Fee will be payable upon offer of membership.
Existing members who decide to leave the club and re-join at a later date will be required to pay this fee upon rejoining the club.
There are some great memberships options available at Waitemata. Annual fees are as follows:

Full Playing Member
There’s no restriction on the number of times you can play the course making it a very affordable option for the enthusiastic golfer! Full playing members are able to participate in all Club competitions and activities. This category also has full voting rights .
An annual full playing membership subscription is $1,500.00
Off Peak Member
As an off peak member there’s no restrictions to the number of times you can play the course when bookings allow, excluding Saturdays, as Off peak members are unable to participate in Saturday Club competitions, but have full voting rights.
An annual off peak membership subscription is $1,360.00
9 Hole Member
A perfect opportunity for golfers only wanting to play 9 holes. The competition day for these members is Tuesday but extra days are open to these members at allotted tee times, at the starters discretion. Members may play with spouse , partner on opening and closing days, or by committee invitation. There are voting rights with this membership.
An annual subscription for this member is $910.00
Golfers 19-35 Years*
Like all clubs in New Zealand, Waitemata Golf Club would like to encourage young and busy people into the game, so we are offering great deals for anyone under the age of 35 years. Full playing and voting rights are given to these members and gives you the opportunity to transition to a full subscription.
- 30 to 35 years annual subscription $1,100.00
- 25 to 29 years annual subscription $850.00
- 19 to 24 years annual subscription $700.00
*Note that you will be required to provide proof of your age via a valid ID (e.g. Driver's Licence, 18+ card, passport).
Junior Members (under 19)
Waitemata is committed to growing the game among young people, and offer support for both new and experienced golfers. Junior membership is open to all those under 19 years old, with competition days on Sundays. Upon application and acceptance from the Golf committee some juniors will be able to play in main Club events. Also Junior Members will have the opportunity to be part of the Junior Coaching academy, and junior members competing in Regional or National events may qualify for tournament entry subsidies.
Annual subscription for this membership category is $200.00
The above subscription Fees include all Levies and Affiliation Fees.
Non Playing Social Member
We also offer a non playing social membership for non golfers looking to utilise the club bar and clubhouse facilities
Annual Subscription for this membership category is $50.00

Applications for membership can be made by filling out our online membership form, by filling out this form you are agreeing join the society (subject to acceptance) and to abide by all the rules of the Waitemata Golf Club laid out in the constitution and other documentation (available on request).
