Michelle James

Handicap: 26

How long have you been at WGC? I did the six week course with Brad maybe February of 2023! I started around the same time as Alison Devereux

What got you interested in golf? The kids had all grown up and I wanted to do something for myself. I always wanted to play, so I picked up the clubs.

Favourite Hole: Hole 4, it seems to always go right

Best Golfing Tip: Visualise before you take the shot. You need to think about the whole motion, not the little details.

Dream Golf Foursome:  Alison Devereux, Gale Deverill and our friend Hans.

Where would you love to play one day, and why? Millbrooke in Queenstown. I’ve played 9 holes, but it would be nice doing the full 18.

Golf Goal: A single figure handicap!

Favourite thing about WGC: The feeling of community, the staff, part of a family and really belonging. The camaraderie
