9-Hole Ladies Weekly Chat

How good is this weather?! Crisp mornings, bluebird days—it's absolute golfing heaven. With a few long weekends coming up, I'm planning to take advantage of the opportunity to try some different courses around the country. I highly recommend you do the same! Ask around—see where the other ladies like to play and make a little road trip of it. I know a few of our own headed down to Millbrook recently and had an absolute blast. I love hearing these stories and knowing that our club is sparking such memorable holidays.

Now for a special shoutout—we've got a superstar in our midst! Big congrats to Helen Holtes, who came second overall in the pennants in her very first year playing. And get this—she only played 4 out of the 6 games. Helen was my partner and honestly, she was so dedicated—playing each course in advance to prep. Such a well-deserved result.

Mid-Winter Christmas Event – Registrations Now Open

Mark your calendars—Tuesday, 24 June is our Mid-Winter Christmas Event! 

We'll be playing for the Nance Cochrane Plate, so get ready for a fun and festive competition out on the course.

This event is always a favourite—filled with laughter, team spirit, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic. After golf, we'll enjoy a festive lunch together and raffle our much-loved Christmas Hampers.

To help make the hampers as fabulous as ever, we're asking everyone to bring in a small prize item to contribute. This could be anything from wine and sweet treats to pamper items, fun golf accessories or something with a bit of sparkle. Bring something you'd love to receive—chances are someone else will too!

Registrations are open now. Last event we sold out of tee slots - so don’t delay!

Golf Rule Reminder – Let's Keep the Pace

A quick reminder to help us all enjoy the round—keep an eye on your group's pace and aim to keep the pace of 10-12 mins per hole - that is teeing off to finishing putt, for all four of you!
