Hello ladies,

If we've had one more wet Tuesday, I swear we'd start floating down the fairway. Thankfully, the skies can rest now, because surely, we've had our fill for the year. The course has been closed for coring anyway, but it reopens on Friday, so let's get swinging again next week. Fresh greens, fresh start.

Open Day Season Ahead

Summer golf is just around the corner, and we've got plenty of 9-hole Open Days to pop in the diary for 2026. This is an excellent way to try other golf courses of the region, get a carload together and make a day of it. 

North Shore GC – Thu 26 Feb

Pupuke GC – Fri 27 Mar (hosting the NH 9-Hole Ladies Provincial Champs)

Whangaparaoa GC – Fri 24 Apr

Warkworth GC – Fri 2 Oct

Helensville GC – Fri 16 Oct

Wainui GC – Thu 19 Nov

And don't forget the Champion of Champions on Sunday 23 Nov 2025 at RNZAF Golf Club. 
 

Christmas Closing – Tuesday 2 December

Our End-of-Year Bash is almost here, please mark it in your calendars and come along. We want to see a full tee sheet and a full bar after! Expect a festive, fun-filled round, plenty of laughs, raffles, and maybe even a visit from Santa.

We'll send out the format and when registrations are open soon. 

In the meantime, think about what you can donate for the raffles. Or if you have a business that you'd like to showcase to our 200 members and donate a prize please let me know.

$35 members / $60 non-members, including light lunch and gift pack (ooo la la!).

So, ladies, here's your mission. If you happen to bump into Karen Walker (or find her on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/karenwalker/), give her a gentle nudge. Imagine playing in chic Karen Walker golf gear.
 

Rule Reminder – Replacing Divots (Again!)

Let's all do our bit for the greens. Always replace or fill your divot with sand after your shot. Press it down with your foot to level it off.

Even if it's not yours, if you see it, fix it. The greens team will thank you.
