Laurie Hewitt Fundraiser - A Great Success!

What a fantastic day we had yesterday for the Laurie Hewitt Fundraiser! Despite the threatening skies, the rain stayed away and we enjoyed a wonderful day of golf for a great cause.

College Golf held their Year 9&10 competition at Waitemata and the Eagles were asked to help meet the teams and start them off.

The teams involved were Takapuna Grammar School and Auckland Grammar School.

Joe Gunson, the manager from Auckland Grammar, was very helpful and together we got the teams together and watched as they all had very impressive drives off the First Tee.

The competition was the teams' best 3 stableford scores over the 9 holes

The final result was Takapuna - 50 stableford v Auckland Grammar - 44 stableford
