Treasurer Role – Expressions of Interest
Jacquee is stepping down as Treasurer after many years of excellent service, and we are now seeking someone to take on this role.
This position is separate from the Convenor role and suits someone who is organised, comfortable with basic money handling, and keen to be involved.
Key parts of the role include:
• Tracking income and expenses for 9-Hole events
• Managing raffle money and reimbursements
• Helping organise hampers and event prizes
• Supporting traditions such as the Gobbler competition
• Working alongside the Convenors to plan each event
If more than one member is interested, the role will be put to a vote in the week commencing 2 March.
Please email me directly (pennycelliott@gmail.com) if you would like to put your name forward or have any questions.

Committee Meeting
Next week, we have our first Committee Meeting of 2026. If you would like me to bring anything to this meeting, please let me know this week, and I will raise it for you representing the 9-hole ladies.

Rule changes
Please keep abreast of the few rule changes that have come out on the golf club emails -
15cm Clean and Place on your own mown fairway.
Own mown fairway is defined as any closely mown area on the hole in play. This includes the first cut/fringe around the green.
The clean and place rule on the 16th hole remains 1 club length before the blue markers on your own mown fairway and as above past the markers.
And the times when dogs are allowed on the golf course, on a lead with you, are outside of match play times.
Looking forward to a great season of 9-hole golf and to seeing many of you on Opening Day.
Penny & Sheridan
