What a brilliant Opening Day on Tuesday.
Despite everything the weather has thrown at us lately, we timed it perfectly and were rewarded with sunshine, smiles, and a great day on the course.

It was so good to see everyone back together, welcome new faces, and kick off the 2026 season properly. It was especially great to see some new faces. I know what that felt like, my first time, and I hope to see more and more of you at each event we hold. 

And Golf Bingo was a hit. Plenty of laughs, creative engagement, and maybe one to repeat? 

Congratulations to the winners, too.

Pennants Report – 9 Hole Ladies

New Captain Jules report - 

We faced a very experienced side in our latest pennants match and, giving away plenty of shots across the field, always knew it would be a tough contest. A cold, blustery start made conditions challenging, but the weather cleared to a beautiful day as play went on.

A special mention to Lily Rebbeck, in her very first outing and stepping straight into the No. 1 position, who produced one of our best results with a halved match. Prue Gard also had a standout performance, securing a strong 5.5 win.

While the overall result went our opponents’ way, our team showed great determination and sportsmanship throughout. We look forward to our next round against North Shore at Whangaparaoa on Monday.

Thanks again to everyone who played this week, helped out, and brought such a great atmosphere to the day.
