Hello Lovely 9-Hole Ladies!

It is time for our annual survey. Please click the link below and have your say. It won’t take long, but if you have more to say, it will take as long as it takes. Last year, we had about 10% of the 9-hole ladies reply. It is hard to make decisions that affect you all based on a 10% vreply rate. So have your say through the survey or forever hold your peace, as my mother says!

If it asks you to log into a Google account and you don’t have one, ignore that and go on through to answer the questions.

Pennants Report

We were matched against Wainui on Monday, this time at Pupuke on a course that tested both legs and touch.

It was a much closer contest overall, with our side recording three wins and a draw, narrowly losing the match by just three shots. A special mention to Helen Holtes, with an excellent 6–3 win.

Presentation of Lyn McLachlan Plate to the winner, Linh Do

Huge congratulations, and it’s lovely to have this in the winner's hands thanks to Sheridan and Jacquee. Winnings will soon be added to their accounts, so say hi as they have the quids for the coffees!

Committee Update

At the AGM they will be voting on the repair work to be done on the bunkers. This is a substantial amount of money, circa $320k - if you would like your say on this, please be present at the AGM. Dates to come on the main newsletter.

Please commit to playing if you put your name into the booking system. Several players within the wider club have had their bookings suspended because they keep abusing the booking system by booking in and then not showing up. I don’t need to explain why this is unacceptable, and two, the knock-on effects on the rest of the club members. You are all grown women, and I wouldn’t expect to see any of you on the naughty list…!

I look forward to your responses to the survey. Hurry along your friends who might be tech-adverse to get in and give their responses, too.

Penny and Sheridan.

P.S. I have been organising a Rules Refresher luncheon and was hoping for this month; however, the lady who does the presentation, which is excellent, one of their husbands has gone into hospice, so I am giving her breathing space. Know it will happen, though, and I am trying to action this need of many of you.
