Tree Planting - Volunteers Needed

As part of our collaboration with Restoring Takarunga Hauraki we are planting 400 seedling trees next Wednesday, 19th August.

Volunteers to meet at 8am by the 14th green.

If you can help out, please email through your name to admin@waitematagolf.co.nz. Bring a spade and / or gloves if you have them. Wear sensible shoes or gumboots.

Practice Nets

The old nets have come down and then new ones have been partially constructed.

There have been some delays due to weather.

So far, they're looking good! The turf was installed yesterday - thank you TigerTurf! - and is looking great.

Hopefully they'll be finished sometime soon; but these things are hard to predict.

Coming Up -  Sterling Cup - Men

Saturday 14th & 21st August

Make your usual Saturday Tee Booking.

Open to all Full Playing Members (Men). 

Format - Pairs 4BBB Stableford over 36 holes (over two Saturdays)

Pair yourself up on the day and confirm your pair with the Pro Shop staff when you check in. Note: you do not need to be playing at the same time.

The Sterling Cup also doubles as qualifying for the Pat O'Connor Cup, which is pairs 4BBB Matchplay to be played over 4 consecutive Saturday's from September 5^th.

The sixteen lowest 18 hole scores over the 2 Sterling Cup rounds will qualify for a seeded draw for the Pat O'Connor cup.

Tee times will be set aside for Pat O'Connor Cup matches
