Change of Date - ProAm 2027

In last week's newsletter we put out a save-the-date for the 2027 ProAm. In the hope of attracting more of our top tour pros we've decided to change the date to the 15th April 2027 (Thursday). Please update your calendars accordingly. Registrations for this will open in January / February 2027.

Finals Footy

It's happening - Warriors vs Knights in the Finals Footy (Semi Final) on the big screen at 6:05pm this Sunday night (20th September 2026). Food and drinks available as usual.

Golf Day Events - Upcoming

We're coming into event-season soon which will affect our Thursday Tee Sheets. The first event is the Bayleys Cure Kids fundraiser on the 1st of October. This will mean that the Tee Sheet will be heavily reduced (morning bookings only) and the Clubhouse will be closed for the private events.

We are pleased to support these fantastic charity fundraisers.

Competitions and Events

As summer nears many of our local clubs will be running golf events. We'd like to remind our members that information on these will be published on our Website and on the various noticeboards.

To access the competitions on the website please log in to waitematagolf.co.nz. Then navigate to Members > Other Club Competitions / Events. 

Entry to these competitions is through individual clubs, not through us.

Sunday 27th - Pennants

We are hosting Mixed Pennants on Sunday, 27th September, so there will be a 2 tee start, similar to a Saturday start sheet. 

Mixed pennants players will be booked between 8am and 9am.

Cups & Trophies

Thank you to everyone that has welcomed me as your interim men's club captain. One of the first things I am undertaking is an audit of the various cups and trophies that we have displayed (and not) and analysing their relevance to the competitions that we run during the year.

As part of this process it has become evident that a lot of them need cleaning and refurbishment and I would like to have some volunteers to assist with this exercise.
