To those who read our information emails, we salute you! Its been so good to be back in action. We thank you hugely for coming up and supporting us.

Thanks for topping up your membership accounts in the café when you get your morning coffee. This has seen services in the upstairs clubhouse run smoother and more efficiently.

We have invested a lot of money in the new point of sale system to allow you the transparency about what’s going in and out of your membership account. Your account balance can be viewed online, on the dot golf app and in the pro shop when printing out a score card.

We are happy to take table bookings for those looking to eat on Friday evening, the menu is displayed below.

For now when arriving upstairs, please keep scanning in and scanning the vaccination pass verifier each time you visit.

We have a few new staff helping us out in these tricky times so please give them a warm welcome when you are next in.

Lastly we would like to say a huge thank you to Benefitz for all our printing and signage done over lockdown period, the old photos on the walls in the clubhouse look great, and also to Ross at Kingdom Decorators for the paintwork in the hallway areas.

Best Wishes
Urville

Covid Update

With ongoing advice coming through from various agencies about how we are able to operate at current settings we have made a couple of further changes to provide additional protection for our members.

From Sunday 19th December 2021, we will be requiring all green fee players and visitors to provide proof of vaccination prior to playing golf. Whilst we have not at this stage taken the decision to mandate vaccines for our current members, we can apply this requirement to all of our visiting players.

Following a discussion by the golf committee about how to manage the current restrictions that allow both vaccinated and unvaccinated people to play golf, it was decided that members who were uncomfortable playing with others that they don't know the vaccination status of, should where possible arrange to play in a four with players known to them.

Alternatively, members can ask as to the status of their playing group at the first tee. If someone is unwilling or unable to prove their vaccination status, let them tee off ahead and play on their own, and then follow with the vaccinated players remaining as a group.

Members are however reminded that anyone can transmit covid 19 whether vaccinated or not, and social distancing and mask wearing protocols are still in place for exactly those reasons.
