 Practice on the Course
An ongoing issue for the Greenkeepers is people using the course in the twilight / evenings for concentrated practice from certain areas.
Over the last week there has been people hitting in excess of a dozen balls at a time from bunkers, multiple tee shots and approaches without repairing damage caused.
This is especially frustrating for the greens staff when they work all day in the heat to get the course ready for the next day, and then have to re-do their work the next morning. With the current weather, the grass is growing very quickly and their time is limited.
Please hit a maximum of two balls when out on the course playing, and repair any damage, rake all bunkers after use.
We would also like to thank the volunteers of the Dad's Army who met on Wednesday morning this week, and helped out on the course. It was great to see everyone back after a protracted break.
