New Tractor

The club last week took delivery of a new tractor to replace one of our oldest pieces of machinery. This investment will help to support the course staff with sanding and other on course tasks, and hopefully reduce maintenance and repair time. The pervious tractor was very old, but sold for a fair price on trade me, and has left for retirement by the beach.

Course Update

With the weather continuing to work against us, it still takes very little rain to set us back to square one. The Greens Staff were able to get some mowing completed prior to the rain coming in again, however those of you who have played will have seen how wet it still is. 

We are in the process of getting quotes to improve the drainage on the course, particularly on the 1st hole. Flooding on this hole has been particularly bad this year and it is difficult to get the water away again once it's there. 

This work will be done over the summer assuming all goes to plan.
