The closing date for the Matchplay Club Champs is next Wednesday 3rd September. To date entries are very low across all divisions. Please consider participating to make this event a success. 

At this stage we will probably not play round 1 so if you are available for the other rounds please let me know.

The finals will be played in conjunction with the mens competition and the club is planning an event on the morning for other members to encourage a high level of spectators to stay and watch the finals. There will be a prize giving following the conclusion of play.

MATCHPLAY CLUB CHAMPS

Entries for the 2025 Matchplay Club Champs are now open for all Full Playing 18 Hole members.

This year we will be introducing a consolation plate for all divisions for our Matchplay Championships. The primary reason for this change is to encourage more players to enter - even if you are at the higher end of your division there is a chance to come away with a prize and every player will get 2 rounds of competition.

The final round will be played on October 5th, with the following dates pencilled in, dependent on numbers in each division.

Round 1 (if required) - Saturday 20th September
Round 2 Saturday 27th September
Semifinals Saturday 4th October
Finals Sunday 5th October

Divisions and handicap index ranges are as follows:

Silver = Up to 18.4

Bronze I = 18.5 - 25.4

Bronze II = 25.5 +

Please register your entry via this link. 

Once you've logged in, head to the September page and click on the big green 'REGISTER' box on September 3rd. Follow instructions from there to register your entry.  Players will be placed in relevant divisions and seeded based on their handicap index as at the close of entries at 2pm on September 3rd.
