Staffing Update

As you may have heard yesterday we are sad to announce that our Director of Golf Harrison Hinds has been offered a role at Royal Auckland Golf Club, and will be leaving his role at the end of this weekend. This is an exciting opportunity for Harrison to progress his career within the golfing industry and we wish him all the best in his new role.

With Harrison leaving we have been looking at how to structure things as we move forwards. This has led to us looking to make internal changes to cover the role with Urville Martin stepping into Harrison's shoes whilst retaining the Bar Management elements of his role.

Welcome to 2023 and another golfing year at Waitemata Golf Club full of promise.......or hope! This Saturday is the start of our golfing comps and is the first round of the Summer Cup. For those new to the club this is a net medal event and the winner will be the person with the best three of four rounds. The first two rounds are 21st and 28th of January and the last two rounds are 11 and 18th of February. Entry is free by checking the appropriate box when obtaining a scorecard. Obviously the club scramble will also be net medal and the jackpot pool for 2 x two's on the nominated holes currently sits at approx $400. Just a reminder that if you are entering the club scramble you must use a manual scorecard which is to be completed and signed by your marker - digital scorecards are not acceptable.
