Hi all,

Last weekend saw the conclusion of the Birthday Cup and on a day when scoring seemed quite tough we ended up with a tie for first. Paul Toohey and John Sheehan tied with Junho Choi and Min Bae Park on 185 points. A full list of results is available in the pro shop. Congratulations to the winners - your trophy and prizes will be presented on Hamper Day.

This weekend is Round 2 of the Pengelly Trophy so the scramble will be a net medal event, along with two's and the jackpot which is now over $700.

ADVANCE NOTICE - CLUB CHAMPS

The first two rounds of the Senior Mens strokeplay event is scheduled for Saturday 13th May and then along with all other divisions will play on Saturday and Sunday May 20th/21st. Keep these dates free if you are interested in competing for this club trophy event. Entries will open mid April.

Save the Date - AGM 2023

The next AGM of the Waitemata Golf Club is scheduled to be held on Tuesday 16th May 2023, formal notice of the meeting will be sent nearer the time, however we wanted to give advanced warning so that people can plan accordingly.

Masters Monday - 10th April 2023

We have booked tee times from 12 noon for players wishing to enter into Masters Monday. 

More info will follow next week, however we are looking to have the final round of the masters on the big screen from 8am with Golf to follow.

Coring - 11th to 13th April

We will be closing the course from Tuesdsay 11th through until Thursday 13th April for coring of the greens. 

Players will also notice we have had lots of work going on tidying up the trees after the cyclone and addressing some of the drainage issues in certain areas of the course. 

We thank you for your patience while this work is being carried out, conditions this year have meant that we have had to get contractors in as conditions allow in order that damage to the course is minimised.
