CLUB CHAMPS
As advised, due to the course conditions the first two rounds for the Seniors, scheduled for this Saturday, have been cancelled. The Seniors, along with all other divisions will now play 36 holes next weekend. The draw for the first round on Saturday has been loaded into the Dotgolf system. The Seniors and Intermediates play in the morning and the other divisions play in the afternoon. For Sunday the draw will be seeded based on the Saturday results. Sunday's tee sheet is a two tee start commencing at 9am. All of the divisions will essentially be split in half, with the top half teeing off from the first hole and the bottom half of the group off the 10th. D Grade will be off first, followed by C Grade, etc. and the Seniors off last. The trophy presentation will take place in the Clubhouse at the conclusion of play.
Important note for Sunday 21st May - There are very few tee times available for members not playing in the Club Champs. If you have entered the Club Champs and you or a friend has booked you in to play on this day ( which is effectively a booking double-up ) please consider removing your name so that your fellow club members will have the opportunity to get a game on the day.
CLUB DAY
Entries are now being taken in the pro shop for the Club Day which is Saturday 27th May. This is an Ambrose event for teams of four and entry is free. There will be pre and post round snacks provided and an extensive prize table. You can also email your team names to Urville at golf@waitematagolf.co.nz and please remember to state your playing time preference - either the morning start at 8am or the afternoon start at 12.45pm. Full details of the day will be provided closer to the time.
