CLUB DAY RESULTS

Thanks to everyone who attended the Club Day last Saturday, it was great to be able to run an event without the weather curtailing things. 

It was so good to see such a buzz in the clubhouse afterwards, the atmosphere was really great.

Hi everyone,

We have rescheduled the Strokeplay Club Champs as follows:

Sat 16th Sept - Seniors - Rounds 1 and 2

Sat 23rd Sept - Seniors - Rnd 3

                         - Intermediates, Juniors, C & D Grades - Rnd 1

Sun 24th Sept - Seniors - Rnd 4

                           - Intermediates, Juniors, C & D Grades - Rnd 2

We will then proceed straight into the Matchplay with the top 16 from each grade qualifying for this. Qualifying for the Seniors will be based on results from Rounds 3 & 4 and for all other grades will be from Round 2 only.

This is the latest we can schedule these events in order to have them completed prior to coring in mid-October.

Saturday - 3rd June

This Saturday is Round 4 of the Pengelly Trophy so the scramble comp will be net medal, two's and  jackpot. The jackpot currently sits at $1,000 and qualification for this has been expanded to two x two's on any holes.

The following Saturday - 10th June is qualifying day for the Captains and Vice-Captains trophies which are handicap matchplay competitions. Top 16 play in the Captains Trophy and next 16 play in the Vice-Captains trophy. To enter you will need to tick the appropriate box prior to printing your scorecard but please do not enter unless you intend to play in this!

Hi everyone,

I am very proud to announce that our GM - David Herbert has recently qualified for the prestigious Club Management Association of America qualification, which entitles him to put CCM after his name.

This qualification requires extensive study over many years and is a highly respected qualification in the golf industry. David joins an elite group of 12 current general managers in New Zealand who have achieved this industry standard.

Founded in 1927, the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) is the largest professional association for club management professionals with 7,000 members. The members contribute to the success of more than 2,500 country, golf, athletic, city, faculty, military, town, and yacht clubs.

The Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation has been the hallmark of professionalism in club management since 1965 and is the cornerstone of CMAA's certification program. It is a valuable and widely-respected mark of a manager's commitment to professional development and the club industry.
