Current Weather and Course Conditions

With another wet week and a further 100mm of rain having fallen since last Friday, the course is once again very wet. One of the concerns at present is that even when we had a dry week, it takes very little rain to set us back again because the water table is so high. 

At times the rainfall currently seems to be relatively localised with some areas getting significant rainfall while others get very little or none at all. 

Whilst we will do all we can to get the course open as much as possible, the reality is that it is very wet under foot and taking time to dry out when the rain stops. 

Golf NZ Profile

We have had a number of members trying to get hold of other members via the golf directory, but are finding out of date contact details and phone numbers on the system. Once members are in the system it is up to individual members to manage their own profile and details. 

Members are able to update their own details via the 'My Profile' page on the Golf NZ Webiste or in the 'My Profile' on the Club Website (you will need to log in), this information then displays across the various platforms but is only visible to other members rather than the wider public.

New Pergola

We would like to give a big shout out to Gareth and the Team at PSP Ltd who this week installed a new pergola over the seating near the Putting Green / 1st Tee. 

The new structure looks great and will be a nice addition for both golfers and cafe patrons.
